Ljusne Touristcenter

About 6 kilometres from the E4, south of the lake Ljusnan, where the river meets the ocean, you will find Ljusne Touristcenter. 
The lakes around the opening of Ljusnan is a well known eldorado for salmon fishing and sea trout fishing, so if you're looking for a different kind of fishing you have come to the right place!

The village Ljusne has a great industrial history, therefore you should take a walk to the Berth museum (in Swedish: Hyttmueet) and to the Works museum (in Swedish: Bruksmuseet). The Berth museum reflects the iron works phases, from 1671 to 1882. The Works museum reflects the workers lives and how they lived in the shaddow of the mill and the iron works at the turn of the century.

If you and your family want to relax you can go to the bathing place Ljusneparken not far away from the hostel. The bathing place has three pools and a water rush track.

Ljusne Touristcenter offer hostel accommodation in an old fashion way, but also accommodation in apartments in so called "couple cabins".

Hostel;
1-4 beds/room, with common kitchen, TV-room/livingroom and toilet and shower in a corridor, and a sauna. Cleaning after departure is included in the price, unless the cleaning is too extensive, then it will cost 250 SEK/room.

Apartment in "Couple cabins";
6 beds + 2 bed-setees, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with toilet and shower, TV-room, 2 bedrooms (4+2 beds). Sauna and laundry room in a seperate building. Cleaning of apartment, sauna and laundry room is performed by the guest before departure. If you'd like to skip cleaning you can buy this for a cost of 500 SEK/couple cabin.

Catering food can be ordered according to meny from the Bookingscentral. But you can also see a meny in every room/apartment in the touristcenter.

Observe! The least number for a cateringorder is for 4 persons. Ordering catering must be done at least three days before delivery. When you pre-order food before arrival, the meny comes from the Bookingcentral.
