Open-air building

Kajvall

Between Ljusdal och Ängebo in the northern part of the province Hälsingland, lies the open-air building Kajvall. The first peoples moved to Kajvall during the 1640's and then it became a beastshed and was occupied to 1946, which was the year when the last people moved from Kajvall.

Today Kajvall is an open-air building, with skiing and slalom skiing. The slalom slope is about 350 metres long and the peak lies 460 metres above the sea.

If you're more interested in regular skiing you choose between six well-prepared tracks. The longest track is 12 kilometres and goes from Kajvall to Ljusdal, while the shortest track is 2,5 kilometres. Furthermore there are tracks on 10 kilometres , 7,5 kilometres and 3 kilometres.
